Look who just spotted Toreth.....

This short story, Pancakes, is part of book 2 of the Administration series by Manna Francis, Quid Pro Quo, but it's so much delicious goodness bundled into only 37 pages, that it completely deserves being mentioned separately on Goodreads.

If you've read Mind Fuck and couldn't wait to find out how the relationship between these guys would develop, you're in for a treat. Toreth as well as Warrick are quite the characters and Pancakes completely focuses on their rel

I LOVE MANNA FRANCIS! Yes, those are shouty letters. No passing fad or school-girl crush here. Francis swept me off my fucking feet with pancakes of all things. :)

I loved every single word of this story.

From a drunken Toreth mess to warm, intimate morning sex. Something changed and shifted in Warrick and Toreth’s “regular fuck” relationship, which pleasantly surprised one and terrified the other.

“Shh. Just…shh.”

The emotional hit to my heart of a running, fleeing Toreth--so terrified of his feel

our big boy Toreth is far from fucking delighted and I LOVE it. Poor baby's in so deep and he can't stand it. Ha!

"There's no plan, no protocol, no roles, and no game. There's no safe word,..." and Warrick is drowning.

FINALLY I see some intimate emotion from this man, how he deals with it is another story and I'm not going there, needless to say Toreth drives me INSANE. I love him and hate him and lust for him - Gahhh *grabby hands* THIS MAN!

I am totally head over heels in l

RE-READ 2020
This, THIS is where the hook caught and dragged me in.
The turning point here was crucial.
Loved it then...loved it now.

If you can't stand the heat...Get out of the kitchen!

Who would think that pancakes would be topped with so much purpose?
Well, Toreth I suppose there is hope for you after all...
what is that...
"Toreth felt a twist of something tight and angry in his gut."
and then...
"For a moment, he felt a flutter of something like panic starting."
yes, Toreth..that is called your hea

Pancakes made me fall for Warrick's charm even more. Such a sexy enigmatic man. I just can't have enough of his beautifully eccentric mind.

I am mesmerized by him really. So much so that Toreth had begun to bored me and paled in comparison and and Loco is so going to kill me.

I better zip it for now before Team Toreth comes down hard on me.

By the way, I absolutely adore that after massage sensual sex scene between them.

And this inner thoughts of Warrick.....
He started to plan things out. He'

Well, finally. At the very least, it's a move in the right direction from the one-offs in the hotel. Plus ... alluding to *gasp* feelings? Maybe that's taking it too far.

I loved this, but not for the reasons I expected to.

It was a brilliant way to invite readers into the complex, delicate dance that Warrick and Toreth are doing together. Do I feel that they grew any closer? Hmmm. . .Not quite. In fact, I feel that their arrangement seems more dysfunctional than ever in some ways. Toreth is horribly insecure and I find his lashing out a little bit of a turnoff. (As was him hitting on Warrick's sister :p)

But. . .I like getting in Toreth's head. I like that I'm sta

Obviously brilliant. I had altogether forgotten how funny and composed Warrick is, and was (yet again) pleasantly surprised. When I think of this series, I always imagine Toreth as the one who makes me laugh, but Warrick is equally responsible for that.

And this is just so sweet.
