That took me so long to read and in the end it was just underwhelming. I’ll admit that 200 pages in the characters became much more bearable (or was I just desensitized?) but you shouldn’t have to read that much of a book before you start liking it. Overall the ending was good, but I’d seen a lot of reviews saying the ending was mind blowing and personally I found it average, if that. I’m not dying to read the sequel but I’ll probably pick it up eventually.
