Malcolm Gladwell writes non-fiction the way it was intended to be written. He’s engaging, thoughtful, persuasive, and well-researched. 100% reading more by him after this.

My favourite of Malcolm Gladwell’s books, I definitely recommend the audiobook.

Like most of the Gladwell books I’ve read Talking to Strangers makes me think. The reason I rate this one so highly is because it makes me squirm. The ideas are interesting but it is the implications of the ideas that challenge my thinking and force me to see beyond my overly simple (yet comfortable) default positions. As per my rating system, this one deserves a 5; I know that I’ll continue to mull over the ideas for a while.
