In a small village in England where Jane Austen lived and wrote, a group of villagers band together in the early 1940s to save the cottage where she resided, as well as possessions belonging to her and her family. Each member of the group has his or her own sorrows, and are connected through their love of the famous author. Charming and delightful, this debut will satisfy fans of Jane Austen as well as those who look for strong characters with a love of literature.

Narrated by Richard Armitage who was YUMMY! Delightful read alike for Guernsey (I will admit that Guensey was better, but I enjoyed this very much). Loved the epilogue
