Better than The Heir but still not as good as the first part of The Selection.
Sorry, this isn't really going to be a review but more me ranting about this book.
SPOILER ALERT! READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL!
Sooooo let's get started! Eadlyn isn't as self-centred as she was before and is starting to be nice, what a great achievement for her! Marid is (as was expected) a traitor, oh well. WHAT. THE. ACTUALL. HECK.
Eadlyn's choice never got the explanation it deserves, I mean, Maxon and America had 3 books of relantionship development (if that's what we can call it) and Eadlyn and that guy got like, 3 chapters? IN 2 BOOKS? It seems like Kiera just wanted a plot and a WOW reaction. Just bad writing, tho. ...more
