What Members Thought
Well, there is such promise in this book, yet in my opinion it does not deliver. I am of the opposite view of reviewers saying Fergus is able to capture a female voice in narration. I didn't hear a woman's voice, or a gender at all, but especially when the narrator brings up (rarely) her 2 children whom were taken from her, there is certainly a lack of heart in her emoting.
