I loved this book. It’s impossible not to adore Liam with his sexy Scottish accent, unwavering love, and inside knowledge about why men where kilts. And Jillian’s strict dedication to the boy-catching rules is both understandable and merited. The conflict is believable and entertaining. Many of the New Adult novels I’ve read are so heavy that this book was refreshing with its sexy fun and adorable banter. That’s not to say that there isn’t substance and some emotional heart-tugging chapters.

This is a great story! I was sent the ARC from the author for an honest review. I am amazed that this is her first story. I expected a typically NA romance story but this was much much more. Each moment of the story was a page turner and I couldn't wait for the next details to be revealed. I loved Liam - a man determined to get his girl. This book was so sexy, funny and unexpectedly heart-breaking that I tore through it in a matter of hours and then immediately went back to page one for seconds. Fans of J. Lynn, Colleen Hoover, and Jamie McGuire will adore this first installment of the Good Girls Don't series.

If you dig the fun-loving voice of Stephanie Perkins books like ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS but crave some seriously smexy scenes too, read CATCHING LIAM! Jillian is a refreshing NA mc--she doesn't have a perfect body or perfect grades, and she's definitely not looking for a boyfriend. (She reminds me of Midge, Don Draper's girlfriend from season one of Mad Men: "I don't make plans, and I don't make breakfast." Haha!) But the chemistry between her and hot-bodied Scottish exchange student Liam is to

I LOVE this story! Readers who are tired of formulaic NA love stories will eat up CATCHING LIAM like a plate full of waffles made by a hot Scottish exchange student. No troubled pasts or emotional scars here, just a girl (Jilliam) who keeps most guys at arm's length because she's dealing with a condition she doesn't want to talk about. Plus she wants to have fun! Liam is a heaping helping of that with maple syrup on top. (And I haven't even mentioned the ice cream scene...) Awesome read!
