What Members Thought
I liked that the queer elements were seamlessly integrated into the stories rather than comprising the actual plot as is often the case with gay lit. The physicality of the collection - focusing on bodies, their misuse, abuse, loss, etc. - was interesting, and though I found the fantasy aspects to be a bit obtuse at times, they made sense in the rendering of traumatic experiences. The SVU story went on a bit too long, but I suppose that's the point. Interesting and thoughtful.
