Oh good lord-this book goes on and on and on and on and on.....It's at least 100 pages too long. By the time it ends, you don't care what the outcome is, you just want it to be done. And even the ending takes forever. The format, which includes a zillion parentetical references, gets old by about page 20. It starts out with a great deal of promise and good writing and as a page turner but evolves into a who-cares-let's-just-be-done-with-this story. Besides the annoying parenthetical references,

Read this one in less than a day!!!! More like 8 hours total......it was sooooo twisty! I never had a clue on where it was going then, WHAM! Hit me with a right turn!!!! Holy cow! I COULD NOT put it down...the hubby and kids lost me for a while.
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast-paced and easy to read. I also enjoyed the twists in the book. I am a fan of Gillian Flynn. I read Sharp Objects last year and I like her twisted characters. Good reading!
This would have been a 5 star book except for the ending.
