This is a terrible sequel. I loved Me Before You and was eager to read this but it is pure drivel. Beyond being implausible, trite and silly, there is nothing relatable in this book. The character of Lily is an annoying distraction at best and the idea that when looking for your dead parent, you instead seek out his short-term caregiver is preposterous. Really a sorry follow up. And some of the details included do little to enhance the story, although it would be tough to save this one, such as

Filled with psychological truths, wrenching detail and the will to live. A well written believable sequel to "Me before you" that leaves itself open for a third book .
