I loved this book and the irony is that I had no interest in reading it. It was my book club selection and I really had no interest in reading about time travel and then when I saw it was 500+ pages, I had less interest. But I said, read the first chapter and if you hate it, you can stop there. I loved it--the writing really spoke to me--probably the first 200 pages were just incredible. This is a love story through and through. I liked this book but it was hard for me since I like things in chronological order. I realize this is impossible based on the premise but at the end my brain was still trying to compulsively sort it into order. It did make me consider the role of death if we could time travel the way the main character does. That in itself was interesting.
