Not my style. Read for Book Discussion group.
I'm disappointed-perhaps I went into this with higher expectations and that set the bar higher than normal. Initially I found the writing good and at a sufficient depth and yet as the story unfolded, there were so many characters and so much narrative to get through that just made the book unnecessarily long. Perhaps this is a commentary on my attention span as this seems to be in several of my reviews but I believe if an author is including narrative, it should be there to specifically enhance
