What Members Thought

I liked this-it's an easy read, though I was concerned by the endorsement of Elizabeth Gilbert of "Whine.Whine Again. And then Whine Some More."(--Sorry eat.pray.love.)I actually liked the author in this, though I would say that there are a ridiculous amount of characters to keep straight, many of them minor, that if you eliminated would not impact the book in the least, and 2) it goes on a little long without really enhancing the story. Other than that, I liked it.

I really enjoyed this book. Thought it was an interesting story. The author was remorseful the whole book, but mostly because of the hurt and shame she brought on herself and her family. I really liked that she finally got it-—her actions were responsible for harm to others. She was part of an organization that brought drugs into the US and when she got to know people whose lives were ruined by drugs, she finally understood that she did something really bad.
