Lyla James Marichal & Lachlan Duke

The first half of the book I was really engaged. The author did a a good job of showing the growing bond between Lyla and Lachlan while also giving us just enough information about Lyla's past to keep us intrigue.

There were some moments where I felt there were some inconsistencies, but I'm writing this days after finishing and I honestly don't remember exactly what they were.

Until I Get You by Claire Contreras is the story of Lachlan and Lyla.
Lachlan is the star hockey player at college with a path to go to the NHL. But when he meets Lyla at a party he's path is taking a turn. Lyla tries to resist Lachlan but he wears her down. Lyla tries to lay low due to her situation but Lachlan sees her and wants her. But then something happened and Lachlan lost her but he has been looking for her ever since. This starts their story.
