My first book by Carian Cole and I loved it! Slow burn with delicious sexual tension and a forbidden romance. It hit all my buttons!

All the feels

Downloaded this morning and could not put down! I was invested in their story. The back forth over the years was perfect, that history explains it all.

Great storyline, with great characters. Tor was perfect, his love for animals was what pulled me in. I feel both him and Kenzie were soul mates they were destined to be together.

It got messy, you could see it coming, my heart hurt for them both. Asher’s anger was a given, but him coming to Tor at the end had me reaching for the tissue ...more

Steamy first love with May/December tone

Writer did a fine job of navigating out of a potentially creepy sitch. Would have loved a little more explanation on the epilogue as well! Totally detested the last two chapters... hence the lower rating... just didn't make sense for the length of time. ...more
