I'm not always a huge fan of fake girlfriends/boyfriends/fiancees in books...but this one worked for me on every level. Maybe it was because of how Sunny and Max met? Maybe it was because it didn't feel fake? I'm not entirely sure why this worked for me, but it did.

I loved the "first" meeting between them, how she wasn't intimidated by who he was and stood up to him, demanding answers about the girl that hit her car. And I loved that he wasn't a jerk about it. I loved how even when Sunny was un ...more

Max Kent is the big man on campus being a quarterback phenom, he is a Heisman contender and has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When his new neighbor slams into his life, he is intrigued by Sunny who doesn't care who he is and makes her aversion to athletes known. Great read!

Wow! This book was about growing up and maturing. Sunny had a hard life after her mom died. She ran away to live with her grandmother but on the way she crashed. Max saved her from the crash but never found out her name. Two years later fate throws them together again. Can they remain as fake boyfriend and fake fiancee? Or will things change?
