I have read a few of Amy Harmon books and have enjoyed every one of them, this one included. She has a way of writing a great story with wonderful characters.
I love the character Blue, she is witty, outspoken and sarcastic. She is a strong personality despite the up bringing she had. Raised by a man, she thinks is her father, living a simple and transient lifestyle. He teachers her many things, To me the most important one is to be a survivor.

The first book of the year and what a book it was. I Looooved every word. We all need a Wilson in our lives. Fantastic. Could not put it down.

DNF - Sorry folk, I just couldn't get in to the swing of this book. I tried, I really did. But it just wasn't working for it. I have to say, I am labeling this as a "DNF" book and I am thankful that it only cost me $0.99 USD on Amazon.com otherwise I would be a bit more upset.

Great characters and really very well written, too but Ms. Harmon's stories just aren't my bag. I equate her plots to liking Indie films; people either really love them, or they really don't. ...more

This book would get more than five stars if I had anything to do about it!
Truly a wonderful experience reading this book. There are books that are just stories and some stories that rivet you to your seat and grip you with their intensity and slay you with it's words.
A different blue is so apt as a title it has so much meaning so much depth. The author has done such a terrific job in turning this dark and mysterious story that started with despair and made into something beautiful with quotes th ...more

I this girl.

I know this girl very well. I talk with her often, I cry with her too, I laugh with her and sometimes fight with her. I see her in the mirror sometimes with sadness in her eyes yet I keep her encouraged ever pleading in my eyes. We argue, and debate the meaning of life and love. Really good story. Blue and Wilson's relationship was deep, sweet, and filled with love an acceptance.

I would have liked an epilogue.
