It's been a long time since I've read a CoHo book. I honestly don't have a reason why, it's just been a long time.
I have to confess that I didn't have much interest in reading this book. I knew of it's existence, didn't know what it was about and only picked it up because there were almost no other options in the stupid kindle reading challenge. Not only was this KU, I knew the author's work and knew I'd enjoy it. So I got the book.

I cried like a baby.
This novel did me in! Ugh Colleen never disappoints. This story is one of loss and courage, strength and love. You guys have to read this! I don’t want to give to much away however if you want to have all the feels…..Read it. What a great read!

⭐️3.5⭐️ I was completely enraptured by this story, and read it in a matter of hours. I, like many many many others, have read a number of CH novels. I can’t say I loved them all, but she is undoubtably who at minimum has kept my attention on the story she is weaving. This one was definitely one of the favorites. I was sure it was going to end up being a clear 5⭐️, but it fell short right at the finish line. After weaving this really poignant and gut wrenching tale, I feel like it all wrapped up

This book is a real heart wrenching read that will have you reaching for the tissues so fast. As soon as I started reading this book I just knew that it was going to pull on your heart all the way through and it did, it really did.
This was such a tough subject matter but so beautifully written. It really emphasises how life can sometimes be cruel and not pan out how you expected it to.

I have no words, this book pulled so many emotions. I don't know how COHO does it but she always writes a beautiful story. My heart broke for everyone in this story. Kenna carries such guilt, Patrick and Grace have so much anger for Kenna which is completely understandable. Ledger's the one that gives Kenna a chance and sees her beyond that horrific event that changed them all. One beautiful thing they all got out of it was Kenna's daughter Diem. I love how we see Kenna forgive and the other' ...more
