There are ten or more books in the Immortals After Dark series. This is book 2. It can be read as a standalone. It’s my favorite in the series. It was fun and put me in a good mood. I loved Lachlain's single-minded obsessive love for his one mate.

What a great start to a series! I have been hearing about this series for the past couple years and finally decided to read the first book. I was hooked from the first page! I like that you get to see things from both points of view. I thought the characters were very well done. The story line moved along so well it was hard for me to put the book down to go to bed! I am a new fan and will continue this series and anything else by Kresley Cole

So yes i finished the book, yes i enjoyed it, yes it is a good series & no i haven't warmed to Lachlain, not one little bit. Now Emmaline, i liked how much she changed, how she became stronger. I will probably read the rest in this series.
