This is NOT a stand alone book, you need to read book #1 of Lisa Renee Jones's Inside Out series, IF I WERE YOU. Then I would suggest picking up Rebecca's Lost Journals Volume One: THE SEDUCTION; Volume Two:THE CONTRACT; Volume Three: HIS SUBMISSIVE; and Volume Four: MY MASTER, they give a lot of insight to Rebecca and her relationship with the Master.

BEING ME picks up right where IF I WERE YOU left us hanging...finally an answer to what happened to Sara in the storage facility! I would say more ...more

Loved it!!

I loved this book and I love the series so far. Getting really into Chris and Sarah's story, but still itching to find out what happened to Rebecca. Still not sure if I can trust Mark, but he has some serious Dom hotness going on too.

When I think of Chris Merit, I can't help but see Chris Hemsworth. All he needs is that dragon tattoo and YUMMY!! He would be one sexy artist. I hope Chris's dark desires and secrets don't tear Sarah and him apart. I think Mark is hiding something too...so ...more

Being Me oh Lord where do I begin..... First I have to say that Lisa has done it again! I mean I was so enthralled with this book that I did nothing but read and until I finished the book. I did not cook or clean but instead I locked myself up in my reading room and read in my favorite chair. I could not get enough of this story and I will say this this review is going to be spoiler free because you have got to read this series. I mean it is just something that has to be read in order to experie Being Me oh Lord where do I begin..... First I have to say that Lisa has done it again! I mean I was so enthralled with this book that I did nothing but read and until I finished the book. I did not cook or clean but instead I locked myself up in my reading room and read in my favorite chair. I could not get enough of this story and I will say this this review is going to be spoiler free because you have got to read this series. I mean it is just something that has to be read in order to experience the full effect. So here goes my review spoiler free. In If I Were You we meet Sara who found a journal in her friends storage unit and read it. She became intrigued with the journal and soon found herself going to the places the owner of the journal went to. Soon Sara found herself caught up in the middle of this life she is not so sure she wants. To make matters worse she meets Chris the tormented artist and Mark the control freak boss of the art gallery she is now working for.

When we ended If I Were You Chris and Sara were hanging on by a thread because Chris showed her what his lifestyle was and part of that lifestyle Sara thought she could not handle and some she could. Sara has realized that she has fallen in love with Chris and wants to be with him no matter if he is tormented or not. Sara is still struggling with her past and she is not sure if she wants to take this journey with Chris or not. Sara now knows that Chris is a Dominant and she would be his Submissive but is that lifestyle right for her? With her past looming over her she is not so sure she wants to be a submissive.

Sara is confused more than ever when she starts to unravel Rebecca's journal. Sara knows that Rebecca entered into this lifestyle and enjoyed it for a while until it got to be to much for her and she disappeared. Sara is a 100% sure Rebecca is dead but she needs the hard proof not just the journal. Then after some more digging on her part Sara finds out who Rebecca's Master is and when you read it and find out who it is it will blow your mind. I mean totally blow your mind like it did to me. I thought it was one person but it ended up being someone else. Once Sara finds out she will have to decide who she will trust. That list is not easy and while she is figuring that out she will have to decide whether or not to deal with Chris anymore or to even trust Mark.

What will Sara decide...... Mark the control freak...... or Chris the tortured artist...... ...more

Sara is on her own in the storage unit, looking for new clues as to where the missing Rebecca might be when the lights go out and she hears sounds she can't identify as well as footsteps getting closer... And so the reader is immediately back in the middle tension that pushes the Inside Out story along. ***If you have not read If I Were You you will need to go back and read it. Being me is not a stand alone book and in order to understand fully what is going on in the story you will need to go back and read book one and also the journals Vol 1-4 really help with the story as well.***

Warning: if you thought the sex scenes in "If I Were You" were hot bring a fire extinguisher because these scene are SCORCHING!

This book was definitely hot! Very much in the style of FSOG, full of the dangerous yet wounded hero and the innocent heroine being corrupted. But what can I say, it works!

I totally fell for Chris, the hot, rich, philanthropic, yet doting artist with a dark side. And I even liked Sara more in this second book, as she wasn't so vanilla as she was in the first, saying things like "oh my gosh!"

This book was WAY better then book 1. This book reveals more of the dark secrets that Sara and Chris are hiding. It was to stomach the whiplash of Sara's moods. Sara decides she wants something, then doesnt then wants something comepletel different. Her moods changes left me feeling a bit dizzy. This cuased me to drop my rating. I wasnt so sure going into this book after reading the first. The first book just left out so many unanswered questions. I l ...more

I quite enjoyed this next addition to Sara's story. I'm curious to see where things go in the next chapter of her story, as things got quite intense throughout this one.

There was a lot of back and forth between her and Chris, and at times, I wish things would settle a bit more. Either way, I do enjoy their relationship, and more than anything, I think overall Sara is a pretty great character.

The plot twists yet again in Being Me, and I'm excited to see where it goes. The plot keeps thickening, ...more
