The author has written a story that is effortless to read yet still gives us characters with depth and the storyline is not only engrossing, but sexy and filled with a little mystery..

Giselle Moore is embarking on a new segment in her life, she is leaving Paris and the life she has built as an up and coming artist to go to New York to join the rest of her family after five years, well after a weeks vacation in Cabo San Lucas . For you and I , all that flying may not be an issue but Gisselle does not do well with flying ; so the first leg of her journey was spent utilizing the courtesy bags and sitting next to a man who was willing to pay someone else to take his seat . Fate intervenes however on the next leg of her journey placing an incredibly sexy Frenchman next to her, who amazingly with a gentle touch, a warm blanket and a little electricity between the two of them sets her at ease. By the time she awakens , he has a ginger ale waiting for her and some light conversation.
All to soon they part, her for her resort and him for business leaving Gisselle wishing she was more forward , if she was maybe she could have spent more time woth him.
Settled in to her suite at the resort she heads out for dinner and soon finds herself face to face with her travel companion and dancing an electrifying tango wondering if Sin is feeling the same connection.
Sin(Sinclair) is drawn to her and aware of the equal draw she feels but Sin is in a committed relationship and wanting to honor it, but even wanting to honor does not stop him from asking if Gisselle would consider a holiday affair, no questions, no personal information, just time together.
An affair is something the old reserved Gisselle would never consider but her attraction to this man is something she has never experienced and does not want to miss out on! These two are white hot together Until Sin has a bout of guilt and starts pushing her away, something Gisselle is not willing to accept, he promised seven days she wants them all.
These two have seven wonderful days together, during which time they both effect a visible change ion each Other , a change even Sin's co workers and friends in Mexico take note of .
The book leaves you with a cliffhanger so fair warning, Gisselle heads to New York, no goodbye it would be too painful, she has fallen and fallen hard best trip of the bandaid and move on!
I am excitedly awaiting the next book in the series " The Secret"

Wow! This book is scorching hot!
The Affair, by Giana Darling, is the 1st book in her "The Evolution of Sin Trilogy".
A holiday affair for Elle and Sinclair. This sizzling erotic romance was a page turner with a captivating storyline and intriguing characters.
The story ended with so many possibilities for the next book which I can hardly wait to get my hands on.

I finished this book last night before going to sleep and I still don't know what I want to say about.

It was intriguing to say the least. Giselle agrees to have a holiday fling with a stranger, who is also in a relationship. This is something that the author says is totally out of character for this young woman.

The man in question, Sinclair, is going to the same area on business, but know with one look that he has to have this woman.

I admit that I prejudged this book. Never judge a book by its cover fits perfectly to this instalment because this cover really did not appeal to me. Even the blurb wasn’t something that got me interested in the story enough for me to want to read it, partly because I don’t like to read about affairs in general.

But after I read about book #2 I was intrigued. I wanted to read it and in order to do so I had to read the first one first. Let me tell you I am surprised at how much I actu 4.5 Stars

But after I read about book #2 I was intrigued. I wanted to read it and in order to do so I had to read the first one first. Let me tell you I am surprised at how much I actually like this book.

This is totally worth reading even when you normally aren’t into stuff like that because trust me this story is not an ordinary affair.

The Story:
Elle finds herself in the lucky position of going to Mexico for a week since her best friend booked already but couldn’t go herself because of work. Elle isn’t good with flying but finds herself in good company to be distracted.
Elle never thought of herself as beautiful. She has two sisters which are tall and slim and she always stood out as the duckling instead of the swan.
When this handsome good-looking guy lays his eyes on her he doesn’t let her get away easily. He tries to pursue her and Elle is taken by his tenacity. Sinclair has some rules though. No talk about private stuff, just sex, a holiday affair. Elle is not as experienced as one may believe and even though she feels pulled in his direction, she is not sure if she should have an affair with this man, especially after learning about his long-time girlfriend at home. Could she be the woman to interfere in a relationship?

Thoughts:
I thought this guy would be a typical cheater without any conscience, someone who’s after every woman. But it appears to be the first time for Sinclair because he just has to have Elle. She is like a magnet for him. Sinclair seems like this cool tough guy but he has a really soft shell inside his heart and when I noticed this, I really liked him a lot. I think those characters fit so perfectly to each other, it’s a shame that he is already taken. But this is exactly what makes this story interesting, the forbidden thing and the secrets.

I enjoyed how Elle gets to know Sinclair without ever really knowing anything about him. She meets some of his business associates and I found it strange at first that they all knew that Sinclair has a girlfriend waiting at home and seeing him cheating on her. But I still liked all of them. Even Margot, because I can imagine me being a bit like her – no, not really. But if I knew someone around me cheated on their partner, I wouldn’t be ok with it either. I knew it wouldn’t be my business but I think it’s just not fair to the other person.
