This book was a very slow start and kinda dragged to me. I'd rather read Rebecca's journal than about Chris and Sara until the second half of the last chapter. And then there was a cliffhanger...aaaaahhhhhh..... ...more

I am going to be generous and give it 4 stars since it was written well, especially for 1st person. I thought it started a bit slow for me and I found Sara kind of dull, but it picked up quick. I liked how seamlessly she fit into Rebecca's place while trying to figure out what happened to her, it could have come of cheesy, but the writing was well executed. And thanks to the WTF?! I of course have to read the next book(s). ...more

If I were you is a five star banger! This is absolutely bonechiling brilliant! I'm tying to gather my wits as I wade through the haze that the author has got me in. The mystery and suspense is fantastic unlike anything I've read in a long while. DO NOT READ THIS BOOK if you're like me and can't wait for a sequel! This is a definite thriller/mystery and I kept going back and forth on who the culprit was. The ending was a huge cliffhanger (Sara was in a storage locker when the lights went out and she heard footsteps coming down the hallway...) and it's killing me! If you're smart you'll definitely buy and read this book but NOT until the sequel has already been released!!! ...more
