So addictive! I was abducted by this book and it wouldn't let me go :-D
I only try a new author when the plot obliterates all caution. And this plot, wow, it gripped me right away. Imagine this curvy woman who is fed up with her boring fiancé because he doesn't seem to care for her.
Out of the blue, her world is literally blown to pieces, and she's rescued by this Bond-style secret agent who used to be that boring fiancé. Bam! She's in the middle of a life-or-death conspiracy trying desperately ...more

Do you really know your man? LOL. LIES was such a fun read! A unique and refreshing take on romantic comedy and romantic suspense. Kylie Scott's characterization of Thom and Betty are pitch-perfect. What I like the most is how the reader gets Thom's perspective on their relationship through his actions and him being "out of touch with her emotions". I also appreciated the unpredictability of what would happen next. Kylie Scott has always been one of my favorite authors. LIES is a slight departur
