Camden, needing a distraction from his pain and where his future may end up due to the injury and decides Indie is just the distraction he needs.

They will both have to struggle with past and present emotional issues to build back up to who they are and want to be. Can they do it together?

Really cute, funny and sweet. I got to listen to this book on audio and LOVED that the characters were read by two different people, even when the POV changed. You heard the girls voice when the guy was narrating and she spoke, and his voice when she was narrating. I thought that was a great touch and have often wondered why other authors who do POV voice changes don't make the same adjustment. I can honestly say some guys doing the female voices are strange and some of the women doing the male voices just sound like the women still talking. It really helped me stay with the characters that they changed voices based on gender no matter who POV was being narrated. I'm sure it's more expensive, but I think it would be well worth it for other authors to do this. I'm already trying to figure out what I want to listen to next from this author and hoping all her books are done the same way.

I enjoyed getting to know the Harris family in this first book to the series and looking forward to reading more about Tanner, Booker and especially Gareth. I hope there's even a back up to the story and we can learn more about Vi and Hayden. ...more

Camden Harris & Indie Porter

It took a while for me to get into this story, but then I found myself smiling and outright laughing at times.

Camden is a cocky player on and off the field and Indie is a doctor in her residency phase. The meet after Camden gets hurt and is rushed to the hospital and Indie is his doctor.

He is immediately attracted to her and does nothing to hide it. Indie is hesitant due to him being her patient, but neither of them can deny the pull they feel towards one another.

Great read, great story between resident and footballer

Such a fantastic story between two great people. Loved this book can't wait to read the next one of the series and those after. Camden was a hot footballer, soccer to those in the states. Indie was a up coming prominent young resident who was on Cam s case when he came in and the attraction between the two were sultry. The looks were fiery and wants of much more. ...more
