This book was seriously schmexy. The UST in the beginning was TO DIE FOR. It was totally weird to me that Remy doesn't talk hardly at all- I get it, I understand that he has trouble expressing himself, but usually it's the things a book boyfriend says that gets me all hot and bothered, but in this case it was Brooke's descriptions of him- and the way he "scents her" OMFG. SO HOT. I love how he's repeatedly described as feral and animal-like and their each other's mates.

My god Remington was pure sex on a stick!! I loved all things about remy and while I didn't agree with how he handled some parts of the end boy him and Brooke, I understood where both parties were coming from. And the sexy times with these two did not quite. When we finally got it. Holy moly donut shop it have me reaching for my BOB! Nuff said. Read this book! It's killing me waiting for book two. I totally LOVED this book. It helps that I love the tortured alpha bad boy thing that Remington had going on, and who doesn't love boxers/fighters? I know I do. But more than this boy being absolutely swoon worthy, this book had such a great pace and kept you totally into it from beginning to end. Their chemistry seriously makes you squirm, and the author did an amazing job of keeping that up way into the book. And totally STEAMY! This book is not for young readers, thank god ;)

Ok so I read all kinds of reviews about this being a panty melter. I think I set my expectations for that a little too high. I mean it was a great book. I really loved it! Well most of it. I could do without all the scenting and licking. But besides that it is a fantastic love story with great characters and an amazing journey. I'm totally excited to read the next book to find out more about their lives after this. ...more
