I liked this one, but it took some short-cuts in its story telling that sold the story short. I'm not sure this tells you anything, but many of the telling were story elements that were easy to write and not original. This is okay, but the book and characters should own these elements and it just didn't seem to work so well here. I was a bit disappointed, because I always loved this Nate character. I thought he deserved a bit better story to evolve in.
