I am a huge fan of Penelope Ward and had been looking forward to reading this book.

I am sorry to say that I just couldn't get past the disregard for Torrie in the past, and Victor in the present.

Yes, I wanted Mack and Frankie to be together after all the years of longing, but it wasn't fair to the people they were in relationships with. That lack of respect left an awful taste in my mouth.

Absolutely loved this book ... a couple of times I felt like the story line hit the proverbial line of "could this REALLY happen", and the ending felt rushed compared to start and ending, but overall this was a great story with beautiful characters. ...more
