Justin Banks and Amelia Payne were best friends growing up. There was an incident, and Amelia left. Justin never forgave her, so they haven't spoken for about a decade.
Then Amelia's gran dies and leaves them her beach house. This is what finally draws them to the same place. This was a solid read - 4-4 1/2 stars for me. My biggest frustration was the way the way that Justin was SO angry with Amelia - it seemed a little extreme, given how old they were when Amelia left. Other than that, I loved the book. I particularly enjoyed the way that Justin's music worked as a plot device - some books that feature musicians as MC's will occasionally do that, but not as comprehensively and effectively as Penelope Ward did here. This was a winner for me - would definitely recomme
