I was hooked from page one. I love Pride and Prejudice up updates, and this was no exception.
My heart broke for Elizabeth at the beginning of the book. Her high school boyfriend was beyond awful and what he put her through...he deserved a worse fate than what he got.
I loved Declan he was hot and alpha and pure awesomesauce. And don't get me started on his accent, I could practically hear it as I read. And even better was the fact that he had a twin brother, so there was double the hotness! ...more

4.5 Unicorn Girl Stars!
Elizabeth Bennett makes me want to read Pride and Prejudice (Yeah, so I'm gonna be honest here, I haven't read any Jane Austen novels yet. Don't judge. :p). She's been through a lot, and she's much stronger for it, but she still has scars, both physical and emotional. Declan Blay is an underground fighter with a gentle soul. Each with their own type of brokenness, but together they're perfect.

I wasn't crazy about Elizabeth, the main female character in this book. She was kind of a doormat when it came to her mother. I've never understood people who let others take advantage of them and treat them badly because "he's the only family I've got" or "I'll give them another chance because maybe this time it'll be different" or "I wish I could tell her to stop coming around asking for money but she's my mother and I want her to love me".
