Is it too much to ask that there is a book released with very few grammar errors?
The book was great. I loved the intensity of Jesse Ward and but Ava's character frustrated me at times with her dumb-ass-ary mindsets.
In some parts, the grammar errors were so pronounced, it truly distracted me from being completely engulfed in this story. And, just as my luck would have it, the worse of the grammar errors would present themselves in portions of the storyline that has me sticking to every word on ...more

This book was very well written, especially for 1st person narrative.
It was kinda log, but it didn't feel like it was dragging, especially after the first 120 pages or so.
Jesse and Ava are probably the most frustrating and insecure characters I've ever read of this erotica genre, but I really felt pulled into their world and their turbulent romance and really enjoyed this read over all. I'll definitely continue with this series. ...more

It took a long time to finish This Man, because somehow after halfway through the book, I lost my appetite.
Ava meets Jesse when she's hired for The Manor. She thinks The Manor is some kind of hotel.
Eh?? Wrong, Ava! Omigod!
And there she sees Jesse Ward for the first time. Jesse wants her, and Jesse will do anything to get Ava.
Two incredibly hard-headed persons, one is so stubborn-prideful and one is more nuclear and more crazy than Mr. Grey. Jesse craves controls, and Ava hates Jesse's poss ...more

When I read the blurb for this book my first thought was "Hell, another one of those 50 Shades books!"However, some friends insisted that it was different so with a whole lot of hesitancy I hunkered down and started to read.
Thank goodness I had a free weekend to indulge in Mr. Ward!
So here's what I thought about this hell of a ride of emotions, shouting and different kinds of sex.

“He’s the epitome of bad boy, if slightly older. He’s hazardous, enigmatic and completely addictive.”

In my opinion..... Another one bites the dust!
I won't even bother comparing it to the fifty copy bandwagon because at least in fifty there was an honest to God actual conversation between the two characters that started off the banter and consequently the attraction between meek timid Ana and brooding bad boy evercontrolling Christian. Here it's like here's slot a and here's tab B and even though they weren't in the same vicinity leave alone the same toy box they some how pushed and prodded and ...more

Has to be one of the worst books Ive read in a long time. I read through half of the second book.. Waited for the Plot and climax.. but it never came. Weak main character and a controlling man. defiantly not a fairytale to me. Im sad I wasted so much time on it. Every chapter seemed to be the same as the one before it
