3 ½ stars. Above average, but I wanted more story/plot.

There’s some repetitiveness, but I didn’t mind because it’s all this good Kristen Ashley stuff, which I love. The gorgeous guy is sooo devoted to one girl and giving her tons of attention and protection (and expensive gifts). It’s fun being her. As to her - she’s a wimpy placid little thing, but hard-working with a good attitude. He’s controlling. He speaks like KA’s motorcycle guys. He does not use the word “If.” He frequently omits pronoun 3 ½ stars. Above average, but I wanted more story/plot.

Anya has very little money so she buys cheap things and on-sale things. I liked the way she would say to herself my cheap (but cute) purse, or my inexpensive (but cute) sandals. It’s her positive attitude.

Lots of graphic, explicit, detailed sex scenes. Anya learns that she likes being punished with spankings and strap whippings. It was odd to hear her call him “Daddy.” You need to get used to that, and be ok with it.

TYPOS:
Some reviewers complained about typos and errors. I did not notice any. There might be different ebook versions out there.

THE SERIES:
This is the first book in The Unfinished Hero Series. There will be at least five books. They can be read as stand alones. The sequels continue with more stories about characters who work for Knight or have a connection to him. I’ve read the first three. I like this one the best.

First goodreads review has disappeared. Did a second reading of this while at the beach in March 2018. Still one of her best to me, probably because it's the first more risque one I read by her. Still gets 4, oh Daddy, stars for me. Would really like to see a re-visit with Knight and Anya to see how much his let's-have-things-strictly-only-the-way-I-want-them philosophy has (or has not) been changed by Anya and their kid(s). ...more
