I knew very little about Malala Yousafzai before I listened to this audiobook. I am in awe of what she and other girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan go through in order to get an education. Children in the US and other developed countries have no idea how hard it is for other children in the world, unless we talk to them about stories like Malala's. I'm very glad I listened to this, and I am inspired to do more for girls' and women's education. Also a great audiobook--narrator is Archie Panjabi, t ...more
