A true ode to women, the unsung heroines of history.
Through Galeano short stories, the reader can learn about stories, that can't be found in most books. He also shows another aspect to stories that are centuries old and have been engraved to the readers mind in a patriarchal way.
It really makes you wonder on how many historical events have been fed to you, in a way that paint women as bad/evil/stupid/weak/insignificant and how far from the truth those stories are.
