Soooo Good! I loved this book! Arrgh it was amazing.

For the first one hundred or so pages, I thought that Celaena's "oh, I could kill him this way, or this way if I wanted to, but I won't, because I don't want to" was just talk, but as the story went on, her character became more clear and admirable, and you could see that it wasn't just empty words.

I also really like Dorian, the prince; he was hilarious. Chaol was ok, I couldn't really dislike him, but I preferred Dorian...

I really enjoyed this book. And at first, I didn't think I would because I'm not that interested in assassins and most fairy magic doesn't interest me. But I'm really glad that I read this, it was extremely enjoyable. And I really loved both of the men in this book. And, of course, there is a bad father/king, which isn't very surprising, just kinda annoying. ...more
