Destroy Me is an awesome interlude to the Shatter Me series. It gives an insight into Warner's mind which actually is part of the story.

I often find novellas to be non-essential to the story of the series they belong to, many feel like they were just clipped together from stuff that got edited from the actual book series. That's definitely not the case here. This novella is very important to the story and brings us closer to a character who is (at first glance) hard to understand.

Just finished reading Destroy Me by Tahereh Mafi, and my love for Warner has multiplied by 9000. I love Warner more than Zuko, Augustus Waters, Raffe, and Mal combined. Oh my gawd, I have never loved a fictional character this much.

Why the hell do some people say he’s psycho? If they do then I assume they either haven’t read Destroy Me or they just choose to ignore how tortured, broken, and controlled he is by his abusive father. I used to think he was evil until I read his POV in Destroy Me. Ju

What a great novella. I could not put it down. I loved Warner in Shatter Me and this just made my love for him intensify. He's just one of the most complex, intriguing characters I've read about in so long and seeing how his past mirrors Juliette's so closely was so great to read about. I feel like they understand each other on levels no one else can, their paths just took them in two different directions. Her upbringing landed her in an asylum and his landed him trapped under his father's thumb ...more

I hate to admit it but I’m starting to like Warner. Hahah. I’m glad the author decided to make a short but interesting book from Warner’s point of view. I actually enjoyed reading this one better than the 1st book. 4 stars. :-)

Warner is amazing!!!!!!
I love his perspective. I feel in Shatter me you hardly get to know him at all or his opinion/feelings for Juliette. Destroy Me sure explains a lot! :D
