Shelves: not-upto-the-hype, depressing, classics
When I was reading, I wondered how this book could have been considered as a classic. I fail to understand how can a story about a step-dad raping his daughter continuously for years considered to be classic?
In the name of love, blah!!!
Some sort of redemption for his heinous acts?

I was so angry after reading the book, that I did not wish to comment on it.

Of course, I like Nakobov's writing style, but shouldn't the story be the real essence for a novel. Considering that people empathize with Hu ...more
