For the few days you spend reading, you will be totally immersed within the Afghani Societies that Mr.Khaled Hosseini describes so beautiful throughout the novel, the drama is as powerful as can be.
The book and its characters grow on you as the pages start passing by.

This book was everything I had heard it was! I only regret that it took me so long to get around to reading it. The characters were so human, so real, and not flat at all, because you could like them on one page, and just completely loathe them on the next page, but that is why they were so real. They just came to life for me. This book was so emotional and touching, and it brought Afghanistan to life, as well.
