After reading this book. I felt I am very lucky, I have parents to take care, I have country to live. Hope I will have friend like Rahim Khan someday. Yes Rahim Khan is favorite character. Though there is happy ending, it will take sometime to come out this book.

Kite Runner is set in Afghanistan, a story about two young boys who are friends, Amir and Hassan.
Amir is the son of a wealthy Pashtun business man where as Hassan, a Hezara is a son of Amir’s family servant.
The two are the best of friends though Amir is lacking in courage and loyalty, and lacks standing for his best friend.

Another study text. It was well written but I did not enjoy it very much simply because of the subject area.
This was a very good book, but it was also very sad. I struggled through my tears to finish and was glad that I did. The ending was worth the wait.
