What Members Thought
This book was really good and was, obviously, much more detailed than the film. I found myself falling more in love with Edward, the vampire, every page that I read. I am looking forward to starting the second one (especially as I do not know what happens beforehand) and it has also given me the urge to re-read the Anne Rice vampire novels.
I suppose this would be a guilty pleasure?
After having stayed a comfortable distance from this book I decided to jump in and I really enjoyed it. After about 3 days I'm done and really can't wait to sink my teeth into the next one!

Good book. Somehow although the author is not that great, the plot kept me reading. I am now reading the entire series but it seems a bit teeny boperish to me.
A light read. Excellent at getting in the mind of Bella. Not enough action I thought. But a nice setup to continue the story in the next book
