I enjoyed this book! It was different! I have to give it that. And for once, I was not forced to think that our main protagonists were 16, because that would have been so annoying and unimaginable. I'm glad that this is tagged as adult fantasy and Kell and Lila are over 20! Goodness gracious me!
Oh Kell, what I wouldn't do to learn more about you? Both our main protagonists were so intriguing and i loved them! I enjoyed Rhy too! There was something vulnerable about him that made him endearing.

Well as you can see it took me a long time to get back into this.. I think it had something to do with the fact that the physical book was so thick and intimidating. So I tried it on audio.. I started from the beginning and by the time Kel met Lila I fell in love. The mystery the action the fight.. ad much as Kel and Lila clashed they worked well together.. I’m on the waiting list for the second book on audio. I hope that these two meet again..
