It would be impossible not to like a book Kate Morton wrote.
I'm in awe after every single book she writes, because all the details are just so well thought!
Leaving aside the mystery element that was more intense here than her previous books, and also involved the police and an additional case, the fact that Mrs. Morton manages to combine sort of contemporary novels with historical fiction is just mind-blowing.

It's long in Kate Morton style and there are many names that you are exposed to before you start to get answers. I found myself back tracking a few times. But it's good, suspenseful. Every time I thought I knew the answers I didn't! I couldn't put it down
