Interesting premise but turns grisly towards the end. Those of you who have read her gone girl would know that a darkness pervades her writing. A quick back jacket reading would tell you that the protagonist's family had been killed when she was 7 years old and her testimony had put her 15 year old brother in jail for a life term for killing their mother and two sisters.
