What Members Thought
There’s so much raw potential in this book with a focus on what it means to be an adult - and a woman - in the 21st Century, especially with the increasing prevalence that social media has in our day-to-day life but it fell short of reaching that potential for me. It was almost like there was a lack of trust in the reader to appreciate the characterisation and plot so everything was approached with sledgehammer levels of subtlety which resulted in a privileged protagonist who was pretty outright
