The lingo of Calla Bryn Sturgis is addictive as hell and I find myself wanting to adopt bits of Dark Tower slang into my everyday speech -- may it do ya fine -- and the meta in this series is getting magnificent. The structure of Wolves of the Calla was also pretty similar to Roland & co's tenure in Mejis, with the long slow preparation for a single day of action... except with better insight into Roland's ka-tet, fully-fledged gunslingers by his side, more heartbreaking betrayal, robots, better

Probably my favourite of the Dark Tower books, the battle for the Calla, and the buildup to it is one of those great self-contained stories that keeps you reading.
