In someways they had it worse. Like the fact they didn't plan ahead and they had to work hard just to have food for the next day. And they didn't think about the gas (for stove) or the heat, they kind of just waited it out. But on the other hand the had it better. It wasn't has cold because the skyscrapers help to lock in the heat. They had food coming in way longer. But that was because all the rich peopI was good. And sad.... The begining suck! Figures the rich and powerful always win.
It was sad. Not just because all the people dieing. The piles of bodies in the street. Almost all the population dead or gone. That fact that his mom, dad and one of his sisters die. Not just that. Don't get me wrong that is sad. What I'm saying is that what was really sad was that the New York was dieing. The great and famous New York was sinking into the sea. The city that made history and is loved by millions, it dieing. And once it is dead there are little chances of it coming back. Now that is sad.
This book is more heartbreaking then the last. Now that I think about it, I really and truely feel sad about it. I could cry.......
I really liked that part when he had the flu. I like seeing what he really thought. His dreams were very funny, too.
