The part where everything first started to happen (when the moon first can closer to the Earth) it was so scary and I was so tence that I was shaking. Susan Pfeffer makes it seem so real. In the sense that it could happen any day. It even has our prez. in there, you know W. Bush. (Miranda's mother hates him.)

Anyway, it was scary. Then, it was like a roller coster. In a way that it had it's ups and downs; some parts I really liked and some parts were so boring I thought t I was good. And scary!! The part where everything first started to happen (when the moon first can closer to the Earth) it was so scary and I was so tence that I was shaking. Susan Pfeffer makes it seem so real. Anyway, it was scary. Then, it was like a roller coster. In a way that it had it's ups and downs; some parts I really liked and some parts were so boring I thought that I would stop reading the book because of it. But it was good. For some reason I like seeing natural or any other type of disatsers happen. I mean I like to know what happened and how many people died and how much was distored. For some reason that I find that interseting. I don't know why.

The one thing about this book is that it makes you feel how lucky you are and how better off you are compared to them. You think that you can never live without you tv, computer, phone, music, ect. but in truth you would if you had to. You wouldn't like it but you would. Just like in the book it toke some getting used to living without those things. I mean just be lucky you have heat, food, water, and a roof under your head. And not to forget electricity. Do you think you can live without electricity? Well, it would be hard, as you can see in this book.

Wow, I feel so greatful now. I realize now that my live can be much worse. I'll try to remember that when I get all self pity. I can't imagine going through soming like, what they did in the book. I just can't imagine. I don't think that I would have been so smart like Miranda and I would've died..... Scary thought..... But what do I know. I could do the things she done if that happens, maybe I have that inside of me just waiting to come out if need be. I think about how my family would cope. We live in the middle of Texas so we wouldn't be effected by the floods. We might be effected by the volcanos because I hear that there was or is a falt line near us. But would my mom do what her mom did? Would my brother, my dad, my mom and me would have done what they've done? I don't know and I don't want to find out any time soon.

Well, I like the book. Wow, I've typed a lot. I didn't know I could type that much about this book. Wow! Well, I guess that is it. Bye! And be greatful for what you have and always remember that things could always be worse. Bye! ...more

interesting

can't saying there was any interesting plot twists but it was realistic, assuming that the moon someday would get closer to the earth or any other similar natural disaster ...more
