Plans for a Mushroom Radio by Michael H. Richardson is about two very different people. One, Nash LaValley an elderly woman who is secretly a wanted criminal called the Philtrum who is staging her death so she can escape the govenment. Two, Francis Hurd a twenty somthing boy who works at a cereal factory making meat flavored cereal. This book is about their relationship and how it develops. I loved this book. I thought it was a really great take on the whole super popular dystopian world's going to end thing. It had some end of the world themes but it was less about the world will die as much as the world is changing. For the better? I don't know. Do I care? Not particularly. I reccomend this book for any science fiction lovers out there.
