This book was quite shallow in my opinion. Everything was so centered around romance and don't get me wrong I do love a great romance but this one went beyond what should've been. Everyone just HAS to find someone to be with or fear they'll be all alone with no one. Why does it matter if someone ends up alone? The relationships were so forced and fake it was beyond my liking. And how Mortmain is ultimately defeated at the end was so predictable!! Clare could write much better I'm sure ...more

This is the most beautiful story I think I have ever read! It had me either completely mind blown or completely heart broken at all times! The love I have for these characters is indescribable! Ugh! They are just all so beautiful! I never even really had a team throughout this story because both Will and Jem hold their own special place in my heart! I thought this book had the perfect ending, and I was happy that Tessa has a family with Will, and thats not even a spoiler because you already know Jace's ancestors or whatever. Boooooo having a family with Jem. *frowns and crosses arms*.I am still a little confused on the Herondale family tree, but I can always look that up. This series is AMAZING.
