I couldn't stop reading. It was that good.
It was so much better than I expected it to be. It's definitely a new favorite. And now I'm going to read scarlet I don't care that I have exams. I just need to read it.

This book was just so amazing. I was skeptical to read it at first and I don't even know why, maybe just the fact that Cinderella's a cyborg... But anyway, it had everything that makes a book great: funny, strong protagonist, bitchy antagonist, amazing love interest, and the plot moved nicely. Although, I totally predicted the ending.

Kai was amazing and just so sweet and completely Prince Charming. Peony was the perfect sister. Cinder was so strong and sarcastic and reminded me of Katniss in a

Cinder is a futuristic re-envisioning of the classic story of Cinderella in which Cinder is a cyborg mechanic.

I absolutely fell in love with this book and wondered why I didn't read it sooner! This book is really different from the ones I'm used to reading. Most of the time, I only like to read books told in first POV present, but this book gave me a whole new perspective on that. When I first saw the book, I wasn't that interested in it since it's more futuristic with cyborgs and newer technolo

This story is fine. I was hooked because all those who read this kinda predicted what would happen in the story. But I was amazed because despite that fact, it never got boring. I think this is not a retelling of Cinderella, this book is just inspires by that story. And I really liked the characters personalities. Wehn the character should be hated, you will. When the character should be loved, you will. They are not a bunch of immature people and Cinder's character reminds me of Anne Hathaway o ...more

What an interesting take on the fairy tale genre! This book was a fresh air in the mix of dull books I have read recently. It is Cinderella meets dystopian with a scifi twist. A quick and enjoyable read, I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a new take on a overused genre.
