Wow – this was a fantastic read!! I LOVED it and could not put it down. SO good!!

The premise of this book is fascinating--it's as if Harry Potter had been sired by Lord Voldemort instead of James Potter and then mistreated and abused by almost everybody, subject to constant and increasing (and unfair!) constraints/oppression, and left not knowing what to do or who to trust! Why? Why Sally Green?! Why did you have to do that to me and leave your book like that?! AHHHHH!!! Fine. Okay. We can still be friends because I loved your book! This one was super good! Loved it! The beginning of this book was very strong and intriguing. Sadly though I feel it lost its pace about half way through. I became a little frustrated with the many treks Nathan had to take to find Mercury. However Sally Green has made likeable characters particularly in Nathan,Arran and GabrieI.
